Council updates cemetery operations, plans digitization and green space improvements
Council reported ongoing cemetery cleanups and a project to digitize cemetery records and add a permanent veterans monument area. Staff said gates will close at 5 p.m. during winter months and the city is working on a public map/digital record for plots.

Council members and staff reviewed cemetery maintenance and a plan to digitize cemetery records and clarify plot availability. Volunteers and staff have been helping with leaf removal and cleanup; some contractors were engaged for tree trimming and removal where dead or dangerous limbs were identified.
