Keizer helmet donation program seeks contributions after fitting more than 350 helmets last year
The Keizer Helmet Program, active since 1997, fitted roughly 350 helmets last year and organizers asked residents and businesses to donate to a City of Keizer helmet fund to purchase new helmets.

Mary Anne Sangster and volunteers told the council the Keizer Helmet Program has operated since 1997 and has fitted more than 6,000 helmets over its lifetime. Sangster said volunteers fitted about 350 helmets last year at community events and by request, and the program typically charges a small fee ($5 suggested) but provides free helmets in emergency situations.
