The Santa Ana City Council voted 7–0 to introduce for first reading an ordinance that adds and clarifies rules against conduct that blocks or restricts the public's access to sidewalks, bus stops, parks and other public property. The measure would amend Chapter 10 (crimes and miscellaneous law‑enforcement provisions) and related sections of the Santa Ana Municipal Code.
