During its Feb. 18 meeting, the Ada County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine and consent items: claims journals (including the county and the EMS claims journals dated Feb. 14, 2025), personnel actions, five catering permits and one new alcohol license, minutes for Feb. 4 and Feb. 11, notices of liens and releases, Expo Idaho and Barber Park event agreements, and recommendations from indigent services.
The board moved and approved each item in the consent package and authorized the chair to sign the applicable documents on behalf of the board.
A separate claims release related to damaged elections equipment (approximately $1,500) was also approved after procurement and clerk's office staff explained the incident involved a contractor's cage falling from a lift gate; no personal injuries or loss of voting equipment data were reported.
