Macomb County board concurs with four appointments, including two ethics-board picks

At its Feb. 20 meeting the Macomb County Board of Commissioners voted to concur with four appointments announced by the chair.
The appointments the board recorded were: Carolyn Thomas (citizen at large) and Linda Jivenwein (alternate citizen at large) to the Health Department Hearing Board for two-year terms to expire Dec. 31, 2026; Thomas Stowatski Jr. to the Civil Service Commission for a six-year term to expire Dec. 31, 2029; and Brian Paddock (partial term to Jan. 31, 2029) and James Steven Krenjnick (reappointment for a five-year term to Jan. 31, 2030) to the Ethics Board. The chair presented these names and asked for concurrence with items 7a–7d.
A motion to concur with the appointments was called and passed by unanimous vote, 13 to 0. The board did not amend the nominations during the meeting.
The board offered brief words of thanks to appointees in attendance.
