Davie Council approves retirement plan amendment, two code amendments and a rezoning; tables two code items to Jan. 21

Planning & Zoning manager David Quigley said the amendment modifies TOC language to make the affordable housing component implementable. The item passed first reading; the second and final reading was set for Nov. 19.
Rezoning (Item 14, second reading): The council approved rezoning application ZB24-156 (Our Lady of Victory), changing the zoning from Agricultural (AG) to Community Facilities (CF). The second and final reading was approved by roll-call vote with the present council voting yes.
Tabling (Items 15 and 16): Staff requested that code amendments numbered 15 and 16 be tabled to Jan. 21, 2026. The council moved, seconded and voted to table both items.
