The Brevard County Board adopted amendments to Chapter 62 of the county code to allow community development districts to have specified on‑premises signage for parks within certain zoning classifications.
Staff said the ordinance clarifies existing sign rules to permit CDDs to install designated park signage; the item was reviewed and recommended unanimously by the Brevard County Advisory Committee (BCAC) and the Planning & Zoning board. Commissioners had no substantive questions; the adoption vote was 4‑0.
The ordinance proceeds to recordation and the updated sign classifications will be available in the county code and Planning & Development guidance.
