Committee flags possible flood-loading change from ASCE 7-22 Supplement 2 for follow-up
Committee members flagged a potential issue with adoption of ASCE 7-22 Supplement 2 that could change flood-elevation references and increase the number of homes subject to flood-related code requirements. Staff will verify whether the supplement remains part of pending CR102 filings and report back at the December meeting.

At the end of the Nov. 7 meeting, the BFRW committee raised a separate technical concern about a possible adoption of ASCE 7-22 Supplement 2 and its effect on flood elevation and flood-loading requirements.
