County staff reported substantial site progress this week at the new Coffee County animal shelter and warned the public that next-week site work will restrict access. During the Nov. 6 Capital Outlay Committee meeting, an unnamed committee member said block work is being laid and that contractors plan to begin placing base stone for drives next week; once that work starts, the site will be closed to visitors.
