BAY SHORE, N.Y. — At its Sept. 25 meeting the Bay Shore Union Free School District board approved several personnel, contract and legal items, including a previously announced Child Victims Act settlement.

Contracts and program renewals: The board renewed a contract with the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. for $7,200 for the 2025–26 year and authorized contracts with SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Old Westbury for student observations and field work through June 30, 2026 (E6–E7).
