Grant administrator: Hurricane Harvey CDBG project delayed pending two environmental reports

She said some materials were submitted earlier that morning but the required reports had not yet been received and that staff scheduled another check‑in for mid‑December.
Melton also confirmed that once the outstanding environmental items are complete, the project will move to the next step of environmental review and then implementation under the GLO CDBG process. Commissioners asked about expenditure deadlines and Melton agreed to follow up with specific timing for grant compliance.
No formal action was taken; the update was informational and staff will report progress in future meetings.
