Uvalde County awards Regroup a three-year mass-notification contract
After a county evaluation panel reviewed proposals, commissioners approved Regroup's mass-notification service for Uvalde County at $9,995 in year one and $7,195 annually thereafter under a guaranteed three-year price; the system will be hosted at the Emergency Operations Center and relies on cellular mapping of 911 numbers.

The Uvalde County Commissioners on Nov. 10 approved county staff's recommendation to contract with Regroup, a Texas-based mass-notification vendor, after a multi-jurisdiction evaluation narrowed five proposals to two finalists.
