Park and Recreation District meeting adjourned after no quorum; next session Jan. 7, 2026

A Park and Recreation District meeting scheduled for Oct. 5 was adjourned after staff determined a quorum was not present, and no agenda items were considered. "So, unfortunately, since we do not have a quorum, we cannot conduct business to the commission, so we will have to adjourn to our next regularly scheduled meeting, January 7, 2026," a staff member said.

During roll call the host read the names of Commissioners Buruman, Fraser, Goldinger, Kelsey and Klein, along with Vice Chair Gutierrez and Chair Ozz; the roll call did not result in a quorum being established. The meeting record shows brief verbal responses of "Here" for some named members but does not indicate enough members were present to proceed with business.

Because the commission lacked a quorum, no motions, votes, presentations or public comments were conducted or recorded. The host announced the meeting will reconvene on Jan. 7, 2026, and administrative staff will carry any outstanding agenda items forward to that session. The meeting was adjourned without consideration of the published agenda.
