Commissioners initiate zoning-code text amendments; staff to add diagrams and clarify frontage, panhandle and buffer rules

Warren County commissioners voted to initiate a package of text amendments to the Warren County Rural Zoning Code after a work session with Planning & Zoning staff. Ray, a Planning & Zoning presenter, asked the board to begin the process (with review by the RPC Executive Committee and RZC) and specifically asked commissioners to exclude one residential zoning standard (paragraph six) from initiation. A resolution to initiate the text amendments (except paragraph six) was moved and seconded; roll call recorded Mr. Grossman: Yes; Mr. Young: Yes; Mrs. Jones: Yes.
