Randy Haidt, Golden County Rural Fire Department and Emergency Management representative, asked the commission’s permission to hire two probationary firefighters. "I'd like permission to hire Maxwell McCain to station 960... that'll be 8 out of 15 spots as a probationary firefighter," Haidt said. The commission moved and seconded motions to hire Maxwell McCain and Garrett Scott to Station 960 in Prescott; both motions were approved by voice vote.
