Homeowner Tammy Starring said two accessory structures, a tough shed and a shade cover, and a 7.5‑foot wall had been in place for about 21 years; she acknowledged the property had been "turned in" for review. Commissioners examined photos and the purpose of an old piping structure used decades ago to support a ball‑net and raised neighbor concerns about glare. Commissioner Mujica moved to approve the waivers but deny waiver #3 (unshielded light), requiring the homeowner to install a shield on the light and remove the piping; the motion passed.
Commissioners noted the light is rarely used but said shielding would reduce neighbor impacts. The commission recorded the motion as passing; staff said the action is final unless appealed and directed the homeowner to work with planning staff on compliance.
