County opens bids to replace jail radios; two bids under review
Graham County opened bids to replace in-jail analog radios; bids received were $65,027.76 (HeLa/Kila Electronics) and $73,200.08 (Aircom). The board authorized staff to review the packages for conformity and award to the lowest conforming bidder.

County Manager Welker presented two bids on Nov. 3 to replace analog radios used inside the Graham County jail. The equipment was described as the original radios purchased when the jail opened and not digital systems.
