Delaware County recognizes November as Adoption Recognition and Recruitment Month; Job and Family Services highlights placements
The board unanimously recognized November 2025 as Adoption Recognition and Recruitment Month. Job and Family Services reported 15 children in placement, three awaiting adoption and four adoptions already completed this year; staff were praised and supervisor Lynn Stacy received a statewide Child Protection Supervisor award.

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 11 approved a proclamation recognizing November 2025 as Adoption Recognition and Recruitment Month and heard department staff highlight local placement and recruitment work.
