Reed said the Buckett Iron business park has progressed from a preliminary plan to a final plan application; the county will not refer that final plan to the Planning Commission and will instead consider it directly at the board level. Reed characterized the White Quarry boundary amendment as a small change tied to established permit areas that will be processed and permitted.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about process and timing; Reed replied that the matters are in progress and that officials will provide the board with the necessary materials ahead of the hearings.
