Washington County proclaims November 2025 Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month
The Washington County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted a proclamation recognizing November 2025 as Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month and acknowledged local history including the Palati Kalapuya (Tualatin people), forced removals, boarding schools, and the reestablishment of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde.
