The Tyler ISD Board of Trustees took several formal actions during the meeting. After a closed executive session the board returned and a motion was made “to terminate the probationary contract of Patricia Thomas.” The motion was seconded, the board voted “Aye” and the president announced the motion carried; the transcript does not record a roll-call tally or which board member made the motion.
