Fair Oaks Ranch delays ordinance requiring engineering for driveways that cross drainage channels

The Fair Oaks Ranch City Council on Oct. 16 indefinitely postponed consideration of an ordinance that would change permitting and design requirements for driveways that cross drainage channels.

The proposed amendment to the City of Fair Oaks Ranch Code of Ordinances, section 3.01.018, would have required a separate permit for new or expanded driveways on uncurbed streets, pre- and post-construction surveys, engineering design plans where culverts were proposed and would shift review responsibility to the Public Works Department.
