Montgomery County hears rezoning request for 11.21‑acre Ross Lane parcel; staff recommends approval

Montgomery County planning staff presented a rezoning request for an 11.21‑acre tract on Ross Lane during the Board of Commissioners’ informal meeting on Oct. 6, 2025. The applicant, J and N Enterprises, applied to rezone the parcel from AG (agricultural) to R‑1 (single‑family residential); staff told commissioners the request is consistent with the county’s comprehensive plan and would tie into an already‑approved subdivision to the north.
