The Planning Commission approved the consent agenda as read, which included multiple rezoning and specific plan requests along with final plats and corridor design items. Staff read the full captions and recommendations for each consent item and reminded attendees that decisions can be appealed to the Davidson County Chancery or Circuit Court within 60 days.
Earlier in the meeting staff read a list of items recommended for deferral or withdrawal (items 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 19, 21, 23, 26 and 29 among others); commissioners approved those recommendations by voice vote. The chair announced that two items remaining on the agenda (items 20 and 24) were not reached because the meeting time expired and will be automatically rolled to the next meeting on Dec. 11; staff noted that statutory timing for subdivisions (a 60‑day clock) begins as of today for any affected subdivision item.
With the consent agenda approved and the two items deferred, the commission proceeded to hear four items tonight (items 1, 15, 20 and 24) of which two were acted on and two were deferred to the next meeting. The meeting adjourned after the scheduled business.
