In a mix of administrative items, the Finance Committee approved ordinance 14-01-2025 to authorize an RFP for GASB advisory services (the Governmental Accounting Standards Board) with a not-to-exceed amount of $50,000 to assist the city with implementation of accounting standards and training for staff. Director of Finance explained the need for ongoing GASB guidance as standards evolve.
