Kim Watford, Area Director for Special Olympics Area 21, told the Sumner County allocation panel that last spring’s games typically bring about 400 participants and are run entirely by volunteers. When their planned venue became unavailable they leased porta‑potties to meet accessibility and ADA needs; Watford asked the panel to reimburse $800 for that expense and provided receipts during the meeting.
