Pine County adopts registration requirement for lower-potency hemp edibles, updates fee schedule

County Administrator Kelly Schroeder presented a proposed countywide ordinance to register retailers that sell lower-potency hemp edibles in response to new state licensing requirements from the Office of Cannabis Management. Schroeder said the ordinance would create a county registration mechanism similar to the tobacco registration program so low-potency hemp edibles could be tracked and regulated by Pine County.
