County staff notified the board that the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship requires a public notice when anhydrous ammonia storage changes. The property owner Stutzman at 211 South View Road is proposing to add 30,000 gallons of anhydrous ammonia storage, bringing the total on-site capacity to 60,000 gallons. Staff said the site had previously been approved for up to 100,000 gallons in 2015; this item was informational and no board action or vote was required.
