County water staff and consultants presented results Nov. 18 from an outreach and perception effort focused on Clear Lake water quality and potential funding options. The mailed survey tested two property fee levels and reported that the lower fee, $9.75 per typical single‑family home, received 62.5% support while a higher $22.50 level received 59.8% support among returned responses (about 809 responses; margin of error ≈ ±3.4%).
