Commissioners accept Ad Valorem as lowest responsible bidder after Tyler bid deemed nonconforming
County officials found Tyler's reassessment bid omitted a required level-3 assessor on-site clause, declared that bid nonconforming and voted to award the reassessment contract to Ad Valorem as the lowest responsible bidder.

During review of assessor's office bids for a countywide reassessment, Chair reported that one bidder (Tyler) failed to include bid item 19, which the bid documents require: a level-3 assessor or appraiser present on-site at least four days per week. Chair stated this omission made Tyler's submission nonconforming and recommended excluding Tyler from award consideration. With Tyler excluded, Ad Valorem became the lowest responsible bidder.
