Denton County proclaims October 2025 Archaeology Month; county museum highlights programs
The Denton County Commissioners Court proclaimed October 2025 as Denton County Archaeology Month and heard plans for the Denton Dig It Archaeology Fair and other educational activities. County staff noted the Denton County Courthouse Museum is certified to house archaeological items under the Texas Historical Commission program.
