Superior council refers resolution opposing UW–Superior program suspensions after public comments
Following public comment from students and residents, the Superior Common Council voted unanimously to place a resolution opposing University of Wisconsin–Superior program suspensions on the Dec. 19 agenda, and asked councilors to circulate draft language before that meeting.

Councilor Van Sickle moved on Dec. 5 that a resolution opposing recent program suspensions at the University of Wisconsin–Superior be placed under "business by councilors" on the Dec. 19 Superior Common Council agenda; Councilor Ludwig seconded the referral, and the council approved the motion by voice vote.
