Ada County approved a sole-source procurement for Caron compactor wheels for the landfill, opened two bids for the courthouse exterior handrail project (lowest $250,000, highest $580,000) and tabled award consideration to Dec. 2, 2025 for further review.

Ada County commissioners approved Resolution 3148 to authorize a sole-source purchase of Caron compactor wheels for county landfill compactors after staff said current wheels last about two to three years and the county wants to trial a longer-lasting alternative.
