The Park and Recreation Commission approved a resolution to transfer $28,124.33 from the recreation fund balance to an expense account to settle Westbury Bank Aquapark development costs until remaining pledged donations are received.
Brian presented the resolution, saying the aquapark was executed within the planned budget and that the remaining $30,000 pledged by Westbury Bank would be collected in $5,000 increments over the next six years. "The purpose for the fund transfer will cover the construction costs until the remaining pledged donations are received over the coming years," Brian said.
Ryan separately reported donations: a $25,000 second installment from the West Bend Friends of Parks and Recreation toward a $50,000 commitment, and the first $5,000 annual sponsorship installment from Westbury Bank. The commission moved, seconded and approved the fund-transfer resolution and accepted the donation reports by voice vote.
