Crook County community development presents KPIs: fast inspections, code enforcement targets
John Astor, community development director, presented the department’s mission and five service areas — building safety, land‑use planning, code compliance, on‑site septic regulation and operations — and proposed performance metrics including 95% of building inspections within one business day and closing 60% of code cases within 90 days; staff will develop a KPI dashboard and include the description in the January 2026 package.
