Committee hears update: PFAS pilot at Still River well showing 'no detect' in effluent

Unidentified Speaker 6 updated the committee on the PFAS pilot program at the Still River well, reporting that the treatment columns are removing PFAS to a no‑detect level in the effluent so far. "We're going from… they're showing a no detect in the effluent of the water," Speaker 6 said, adding that the project team added a pretreatment column to remove iron that otherwise fouls the media and shortens bed life.
