The House State Administration Committee considered Senate Bill 561, a proposal to revise the membership and selection process for the Public Service Commission (PSC). The committee adopted technical and conceptual amendments (including clarifying elected/appointed language and establishing a two-year residency requirement prior to filing for candidacy), but ultimately voted 7-12 against concurring in the bill as twice amended.
