The House Judiciary Committee on the floor advanced House Bill 4396, described by the chair as a data-sharing bill she authored. The committee read a letter of support from the State Bar of Michigan (Nathan Triplett), who registered support and did not speak. Representative Fugal moved to report the bill with recommendation; after a roll call the clerk announced that House Bill 4396 "is reported with recommendation." The committee took no additional testimony on the measure during this session.
