The council approved Ordinance ID 7,275 to amend the confiscated assets fund to appropriate $197,236 for the purchase of SWAT equipment and vehicle upfitting; staff described the purchase as a shared-cost item with neighboring municipalities. Council member Mr. Ringer moved the ordinance; it passed after a recorded 'aye' vote.
