Chatham County commissioners move to approve several code amendments and budget transfers
The county commission removed a tabled Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance amendment from the table and moved to approve it, approved budget transfers including $32,496 to recorder's court salaries and a $48,000 increase for Greenbrier renovation, and read several ordinance changes into the record for second reading.

The Chatham County Board of Commissioners voted to remove from the table and consider an amendment to Chapter 24, Article 1 (Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance) aimed at aligning format and clarifying development requirements in Special Flood Hazard Areas in unincorporated Chatham County. Chair called the motion to take the item off the table, the motion was seconded and the board voted to resume consideration and move to approve the amendment.
