Board approves contracts, summer program, policy transfers and multiple personnel items
Summary

Contracts and programs: The board renewed the district’s auditing contract with S and B CPAs Associates, PLLC (described as a year-3 renewal to audit the district’s books), approved a renewal with FMX for 2025–2026 (year 4 with a slight increase), and approved a contract with Imagine Learning (Edgenuity product) for the 2025–2026 school year to support distance-learning services. The board also approved the annual K–6 remedial summer school program to allow hiring and planning, and ratified District Policy F5 transfers (Exhibit A) as part of routine quarterly financial administration. Each motion carried by roll-call vote with unanimous support among members present (recorded as 7 ayes, 0 nays for each item).
Personnel and assignments: Following a closed-session discussion of personnel matters, the board voted to approve the personnel reports and extra-duty assignments for 2024–2025; it also approved classification of Chase Plagens as an adjunct physical-science teacher at Guthrie High School and approved building-level administrator contracts for 2025–2026 'without specification for salary or assignment' as listed in the packet. All personnel motions passed by roll call with the votes recorded in the meeting.
