The Lyon County School District Board of Trustees spent a large portion of its June 4 meeting reviewing themes from hundreds of staff suggestion-box entries and a district staff survey. Administration and trustees agreed the survey identified positives — community, collaboration and dedication to students — but focused discussion on persistent problems: inconsistent discipline, teacher retention and gaps in leadership communication.
