RDC approves TIF transfer resolution, claims and generator cost split

The La Porte County Redevelopment Commission adopted resolution O2-2025 (amending resolution O1-2025) authorizing the La Porte County auditor to transfer the I-94 US 421 allocation area #2 TIF fund balance into allocation area #1. Presenters said the allocation area #2 TIF had been used to make a July 15 bond payment of $178,000 and that bond documents required a subsequent transfer of the remaining balance into allocation area #1.
