The full story

The Hardin County Board approved the county’s five‑year program for submission to the Iowa Department of Transportation and a one‑year addendum to the county engineer's employment agreement. County engineer Taylor summarized the five‑year plan, identifying one bridge per year, several paving projects (including D41 north of the training school and the T Avenue/Washington Avenue extension near Eldora), and noted environmental clearances and funding constraints could delay some projects. "We're doing a bridge every year with that money," Taylor said while outlining priorities and cost‑sharing with neighboring Grundy County on one project.
