Speaker 2 presented a months‑old resident request to add striping through the Tomlin/Johnlin corridor between Port Royal Road and Timberline Drive. Staff said lane widths vary (about 10–14 feet in places) and recommended installing a double yellow centerline only; adding edge white lines would reduce usable lane width. “Roughly is 27,000,” Speaker 2 said when asked for a cost estimate for the full striping project, and added a $7,000 quote specifically for Tomlin and Johnlin.
