Planning commission roundup: Pheasant Grove tabled, McDonald's items withdrawn, consent calendar approved

At the applicant's request, two Pheasant Grove preliminary plat items for property at 1000 Landing Circle Drive were tabled to the Sept. 4, 2025 meeting. Three items related to McDonald's at 8611 Highway D were withdrawn by the applicant and will receive no further action at this time.
The commission approved the consent calendar, which included a stormwater management and best-management-practices facilities maintenance agreement for Strawberry Farms and an easement vacation for 3480 Highway K, among other routine consent items.
In staff updates, the commission was advised that City Council had approved a conditional use permit for scooters at Shady Creek and Highway Inn, and that Clement Ford is moving to a new dealership in Wentzville and intends to reuse its West Terre building for collision repair and quick-lube operations with a refreshed elevation; staff had presented a preview of that elevation.
The commission adjourned the meeting after these items.
