During the committee’s third hearing on House Bill 188, Vice Chair Lorenz moved adoption of Amendment 0572. Representative Hall, a joint sponsor, explained the amendment removed the bill’s attached appropriation — because the item will not be part of the next budget vote — and revised selection rules for leaders choosing members to the proposed trade partnership (two members from the majority party and one from the minority party selected by chamber leaders).
