Council approves subdivision of Southgate parcel and accepts $25,000 bid

The bidder provided a sketch of a storage building and said his goal is to be fully located on the property by March, with construction to begin within the timeframe specified in the bid.
Council members moved to accept Delgado’s bid; the motion carried on roll call. The mayor and council noted the action will allow the buyer to start building according to the city’s timeline and that staff will follow up on permitting and site preparation.
