The Marine Resources Commission approved a staff recommendation to authorize construction of a 30-by-14-foot (420 sq ft) open-sided boathouse over an existing lift owned by Roger Evans Jr., located on Long Codd Creek in Northumberland County. Staff reported the proposed design is under the 700-square-foot statutory allowance for open-sided boathouses and recommended approval contingent on Northumberland County Board of Supervisors consent.
