Committee forwards $101.7 million MTA midlife overhaul contract with Complete Coach Works
The Budget & Finance Committee voted to forward to the full Board a resolution authorizing SFMTA to contract with Complete Coach Works for midlife overhauls of 219 buses, a $101.7 million contract forming part of a $154.8 million Phase 1 program; MTA staff said the contract is fully funded with cash on hand, with a $7.3 million contingency to be identified in the capital plan.
